A glance into members views

I have been a part of this chapter from its inception and has seen it grow steadily. I see the commitment in the office bearers who are working hard, although voluntarily, to get an identity and recognition for this chapter in Australia and amongst fellow Indian CA’s across the world. I am proud to be part of this Association.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               -Vardhini Ramanathan

The AICA Brisbane Chapter has provided me a platform to share and acquire knowledge with the other members. The Brisbane Chapter has successfully maintained the enthusiasm and commitment amongst the members through various professional development workshops, social events and monthly updates. It has helped me to connect with likeminded people and also reach out for professional guidance when needed.                                                                                                                                                                                       -Anurag Roy

I have had the pleasure of enjoying both the professional as well as personal interface of AICA Brisbane. On the professional front, it provided me the opportunity to develop new skills and enhance my knowledge base. On the personal front, it connected me to the local Indian community and developed deep friendships. Establishing a Chapter is a journey, and it requires continuous improvement and innovation on the part of its members. I strongly encourage our fellow professionals to be actively involved Chapter’s day to day activities, take the initiative and discover new personal traits which you never knew you had.

Brisbane Chapter of ICAI is a forum for excellence that brings together a group of professionals with same interest more broadly in new ways that enhance their knowledge and skills that can be shared among members mutually. The field of accounting has seen many improvements in theory and techniques in the last two decades and to have a forum like this is very vital for the development of knowledge amongst members.  I am glad that the present management committee is taking a lot of interest in increasing various social activities as well as CPE educational events which would help to achieve and meet the objectives of the forum.  Most importantly through the social events, new members who arrive at Brisbane are welcome to the forum and helping them to settle down in their professional life and to offer such other assistance as may be required for them.  I am glad that I am a part of the Brisbane chapter and it's  disappointing that I was not able to make full use of the chapter and its activities. I take this opportunity to wish all success to the management committee of Brisbane Chapter of ICAI in all their endeavors.                                                                                                                                                              -Mathew John
